Grumble, grumble grumble. Ok, the pizza is pretty decent. it's nicely crisp although it's usually a little tough and the toppings are pretty generous. Perhaps Downtowner is better at 3am when I've had too much to drink and I don't realize what time it is, but when it takes almost 90min to get the damn thing, that's a bit long. I called after an hour and 10 and they tell me it has been in route for 21 minutes...21 minutes to go from downtown to Wilton Manors. I could have WALKED there faster... Maybe next time...after a few drinks

Wish that I read the reviews before stopping in here at 11:41 on a Thursday evening. I just left a GOP Debate party in Miami-Dade and was hungry. With my condo just down the street on the New River, this was easy and convenient. Simple order - a large meatball and sausage parmigiana hoagie. Including tax, I was charged $10.55 on my order. I inquired about wait time and was advised 10 to 15 minutes by an older gentleman working the counter. At 12:01 a.m. - 20 minutes later - I inquired about my food. The same counter person asked me what I had ordered. When I told him, he indicated that they were busy and that it would be another 10 minutes. Nope - no way. A simple sandwich doesn't take 30 minutes. Especially when you have 6 people working the night shift. I called and ordered a 14"mushroom pizza. Staff was super friendly. They do have delivery, but I picked it up. There is metered parking in front of restaurant. They have three tables inside for dine-in. The pizza has a very thick dough and crust. Double the thickness compared to most pizza places. It didn't have enough sauce. The pizza was chewy. This was pizza that I didn't want to keep eating and eating! The flavor was not exciting. The mushrooms were fresh, but the dough tasted old. Cheese was nothing exciting either. I would not order from here again.

Mom is in the hospital across the street. I've been coming here for the past couple of days. Good food and Most importantly great pizza. Staff is pretty friendly as well. Only concern the wings needed to be cooked a little bit more. I would definitely make my way back here!

A definite "must" for anyone traveling to or living nearby! Big C's Downtown Pizzeria is by far the BEST pizza that my family & friends have ever tried. We live in Michigan and nothing compares. If you haven't tried their Greek Salad, do it! All of their ingredients are fresh and they take pride in that. Make sure to end your order with their signature key lime pie! Already anticipating our order next Spring Break! Keep up the terrific work.

I've ordered three times and every time the pizza was either wrong, cold or both.. call up its nothing but rude little brats on the phone you go in to show them your self and you get attitude from counter and a "discount" on your next order.. how about a discount on this one Mr "kitchen manager" looks like a cracked out alchoholic.. This review breaks my heart. Like my Husband and I just got into a big fight about this place. The food is GOOD don't get me wrong but fuck how hard is it to make a hot ham and cheese. I swear to God it's wrong every time we do order it. We should know better. We call for delivery and I'll order a "Hot Ham and cheese. White bread and American cheese." It's never right. Mostly we get a plain grilled cheese with no meat or we get a cold ham sandwich sub. We'll call and they all send a replacement. It take about an hour. Tonight was the last straw. I'm forced to start to take my business elsewhere. I've given them chance after chance yet here I am waiting another hour for my replacement food. We're done. This was the LAST time we order from them. Too much stress.

Pizza is less than average. Fresh toppings that didn't marry well w/ the dough and sauce. It tasted staged and cobbled together. We are here from out of town. Hotel gave us this pizzeria for delivery. They have a 12 year old taking orders over the phone. She couldn't hear anything I said and wasn't friendly at all. The delivery guy walked off w/ our change. He said we didn't ask him for change so he was out. OK!

Two stars for the food. One star for customer service. DO NOT GET DELIVERY. Waited 45 minutes for an incorrect order. Was told I had to wait another 45 for the correct one. I was too hungry to wait and asked for another compensation. I was asked to wait to speak with John the manager. Put my phone on speaker and waited 18 minutes, called back now upset that I was forgotten to wait another 10. I was finally told that the manager "will not speak with you." Looking at the other staff reviews, management needs to be replaced.

Ordered take out pizza. I have had their pizza many times. They are open late at night & deliver to my house. Usually they undercook it. (especially if you get more than one topping or veggies, it can be watery on top) Today I ordered lunch. The pizza sauce has good flavor and they use quality cheese and toppings. They have a full menu but can't comment on it. I would like a thinner crust & more well done. Overall not bad but not great. I prefer the place that has "well done" pizza starts with an A, (coal fired).

We ordered, realised that there was a coupon that could have been used for a free dozen garlic knots, called back in less than a minute and they wouldn't give it to us! Even tho we qualified for it. EXCELLENT pizza. We order once a month when working in the area. The white pizza is fantastic and is our regular order. We just tried the Venezia pizza topped with artichoke, fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, garlic... and it's our new favorite! Not cheap, the 18" was $32 delivered, but it was a quality pie.

Was driving around looking for food and came across this pizza place and I can say they have the best pepperoni/spinach pizza ever!! I have been down a here about 5 yrs and this has been the best pizza perfect :) We always drive the 1 hr ride down there to get some pizza at least 2x a month..

Bonus points for having whole wheat pizza. Too bad the cheese and sauce isn't that great. The topings aren't terrible but the pizza as a whole is. I won't be having this pizza again any time soon. A safer bet is Pasquale's down the road.

The wings, pizza and greek salad are very good. I go at least once a week. The regular burger is tasty and cheap. The large burger is not that great. The fries are not crispy. The mozerella sticks are giant and pretty good. The sauce was to runny. Garlic rolls are above average for the area. Free soda refills for dine in. Pepsi products. They have screwed my carry out order up the last 2 times. Make sure you check it before you leave. Make sure you print coupons online or get a take out menu before you order. Lots of free stuff on orders over 25 bucks. Friendly service. Decent prices.

Horrible place. They lie about their prices online and charge you double for half pizza toppings. Nice they are open till 4am but they try and take advantage of people this late assuming they are a drunk. On my way home I wanted a couple of slices. My usual stop is Pie Zans. But I was driving up Andrews and have seen Big C's and wondered many times how good it is. Went for the safe 2 slices and a soda. Slices are very big but expensive $8 for everything and the taste? Very so-so. Cheese was not the good kind, it was really the americanized version but definitely better than the chain places like papa johns and pizza hut. My guess is they are great if you've been out late and nothing else is open. OK choice since they are open til 4am. But if you want really good pizza .. this is not the spot. It definitely serves a purpose though.

My name is Kira and I WAS a regular customer of this restaurant for almost four years and I am in utter shock at how I was just treated attempting to place an order today. Three weeks ago I ended up with a rusty long pin in my throat from either the broccoli or the pasta and being the peaceful human being that I am, I KINDLY called them, told them what had happened and they credited back my meal and the manager said "Kira we are really sorry and we hope not to lose your business". Fast forward to today, I am tired from work, so I decided to go ahead and give them another chance and order and I placed the entire order only to be placed on hold and then summarily told "we cannot and will not take your order". I sat here in SHOCK as I have spent probably hundreds if not thousands of dollars on meals here and tip the drivers well over 20 to 25% EVERY time. Their business practice is absolutely VILE and DISGRACEFUL TO TREAT A LOYAL CUSTOMER IN THIS WAY. I hope the Owner sees this because they should seriously be ASHAMED of themselves. I could have sued them for what I swallowed, or posted a negative review THEN but chose the path of peaceful resolution. I truly regret this decision as I was just treated so BEYOND shamefully. What I have written here is absolute 100% true and I would advise anyone in this neighborhood to boycott this restaurant. I will now be giving my business to PIEZANS as they would never ever treat anyone this way. I am DISGUSTED!!!!!! This should be a ZERO star review but I had to click on something....UGH....

Ordered delivery. It didn't take very long for a delivery, but the pizza was dead cold when it arrived. They need to invest in pizza warmers. The taste was fine, nothing crazy, but the cold pizza was really just unforgivable.

Just ordered wings and two subs. It took an hour to arrive, which I can dismiss since it is weekend day when they are probably very busy. The food was good. My only problem I have is this - I ordered a chicken parm sub and requested no cheese (I'm lactose intolerant). What would possess you to add grated Parmesan cheese on it? Is this no longer a cheese? Also, who makes a chicken parm sub made from chopped chicken? Shouldn't it be made from a whole piece?

I am very sorry to put you through so much grief by requesting my burger toppings be on the side do they don't make the bread soggy. Finally wrote a Yelp for something that happened in October(ish). I think I've given them ample time to respond. Downtown Pizza in Fort Lauderdale: I'm reading a lot of reviews about how the staff are rude . . . PLEASE. The staff are much more than rude. They're out of freakin' control. I used to love this place! They served us up a live cockroach in the pizza box. Haven't been back since. I complained and they called me a liar. Why would anyone lie and complain about a cockroach in their pizza? Free pizza? You think I'd take anything from that place ever again? NO! Not even if they paid me. This HAD to be deliberate. How else can this type of thing happen? We threw the entire pizza out. Don't eat here. It's very poor.

This place is nothing short of a shit hole!!!! On 7-21-14 I ordered a Pizza, Tiramisu, and 2 Sierra Mist soda's to be delivered to my Hotel. Sierra Mist was great!!!! Pizza tasted stale and old!! The Tiramisu, and I did take pictures of this, was completely covered with MOLD. I am not talking one small spot near the bottom that could have been over looked, this was completely covered in GREEN FUZZY MOLD!!!!!!!! I have been in the foodservice business for for 36 years and have seen what I thought was just about everything untill this. This had to be in the reach in for weeks to get this MOLDY!!! An obvious total disregard for any procedures and standards of quality control that should be implemented in the smallest of operations. These owners do not deserve your hard earned money!!! This got one star because I was unable to post without it.

When I saw the chicken Parmesan pizza and BBQ wings I thought it wasn't going to be good. It was great! The BBQ wings were better than dominos. The pizza was a great combination of cheese and chicken. We were stuffed and made sure we kept the leftovers.

I just ordered a delivery to my hotel room and they forgot to bring my minestrone soup and mushroom burger instead they brought me a mediteranean salad and a bag of garlic rollls seriously?after wating 50mins?i called them back and they were like ok we will send you the remaining order.the mediteranean salad is gross,i don't recommend this place. pls! just don't that's how bad this restaurant is. they try to send my previous order and it took 1hr.and half to bring the food,the guy that took my order is rude as well. I enjoy this place for what it is and order from here often. They've screwed up my order maybe once, but nothing they didn't take care of immediately. Their pizza and Stromboli is on par with the quality I get from pizza up North (I'm originally from Philadelphia) and they are open until 4 am! I never order during lunch/dinner/bar rush, so maybe that's why I've always had good service for the most part. Keep that in mind when ordering!

Disgustingly over priced, $10.95 for chicken wings that is robbery at its best, Order from Pie Zans they are just up the street, they wanted. Downtown Pizza wanted $15.00 + for a side order of meatballs and sausage with delivery fee of $3.00 which they tell you does not go to the driver, if that is the case does the establishment pay for the drivers gas, I highly doubt it, and then you are supposed to tip, so basically the driver is making $7-8 dollars for delivery, at that rate I should quit my job 10 deliveries the driver makes over $80.00 . Go to Pie Zans real people great prices and everyone who works there has all there teeth instead of the guy who summa teeth , some are there and some aren't i guess thats what you get for doing meth.

I have been ordering from Big C's now for about 3 years and I must say it is one of my favorite pizza spots! We order from Big C's so much on the weekends that it is pretty much a tradition now lol. I have ordered about everything on the menu and its all good. They have pretty good wings, but the greek wings are amazing, if you are in the mood for a something a little different than your typical wing, i would recommend getting these. Their salads are pretty decent size and always fresh. As far as subs go, this place definitely gives you your moneys worth, some of my favorite subs include the chicken parm, and the greek sub. Lets get to the pizza though, thats what a pizzeria is for, right? I have had all the pizzas there and my favorite is the double bacon cheeseburger pizza, soooooooo good. Like i said everything there is pretty good so i would recommend trying it for anyone located in the downtown area.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. I have ordered from here regularly and they ALWAYS screw my order up. I waited over an hour for my last order. They brought me the wrong item completely. When I called them, they apologized and said, "We're so sorry, we can be there in 30 min." Another hour went by and when I called back, they said they never put it in. In order to get a refund, I had to go straight there (with the wrong item) and the manager was so rude. He gave me a "partial" refund and said that because they still "delivered," that was why. I will never do business with them again.

I'm not really sure why this place has gotten so many terrible reviews. I order from here quite often, usually through the Grub Hub app on my phone, and have had good experiences. The food, especially their burgers and pasta dishes are good, especially for the price! I also enjoy their hot sandwiches and large, loaded salads, which are always fresh and delish! They are open very late (4AM) so perfect for late night munchies or somewhere that will deliver after being out at the bars late! I will continue to order from them - always delivery - I have never actually eaten at the restaurant.

I've never been inside and I definitely don't think I want to because I'd probably never eat it again. From the outside it looks kinda scary and from the reviews I'm going to rethink about ordering from them. I really didn't expect a great meal but for what it is, it really wasn't that bad and exactly what you're looking for on that lazy weekend. Greek pita is decent and so is their buffalo chicken wrap.

I will never order from this place again. You can order for delivery at your own risk! After a 2 hr. wait for my food, I called to find out what happened. The person on the other end said I should have known it was going to take 1 hour. The customer service was the worst! We order the food at lunch (12 pm). It was 2 pm and the food was not in yet. When the food finally came in it was cold and soggy. We called back and we told them the food was cold and soggy. The answer we got was there is no refund. The customer service was the worst I have ever seen. How do they stay in business? This was extremely disappointed because it would have been a great pizza if it did not sit in a car for an hour after he was supposes to be delivered. What a waste! This will be the last time I get stuck getting food from this place. Big C's Downtown Pizzeria you just lost a lot of customers. I will never recommend this place to anyone! I did not want to give any star but I have too to post.

I always order from this place when I'm at work. Not the best, but not terrible. They don't bring menus so I have to go off of the link offered by Yelp. Well, the prices are completely different. Call ahead and confirm before ordering or be in for a surprise when the total/receipt comes in.

I ordered through GrubHub and had to spend at least $10. All I wanted was soup and a salad. I ordered the chili and the triple salad (a scoop each of tuna, chicken and egg salad on lettuce). The chili tasted like it had been burned or at the very least sitting all day under a heat lamp. The salad was bland bland bland. After paying for tip and the $3 charge through GrubHub, my crappy meal cost me $20!!!!!! Oh yeah, and it took an hour for me to get the crappy food. I won't even bother trying their pizza.

I was doing my clinical rotation at Broward General hospital and I saw this place one day on my way in. I decided to go to there for lunch one day and I really enjoyed my meal. It is just a little pizza spot with some big flavor. I got a chicken parm sandwich and it was really good. Extremely disappointed with this place. I've ordered a few times from them in the past and the food had been good. Last night however, I found a DEAD BEE IN MY SALAD. Today, when asking for a credit on my next order, the manager (Corey) told me that the bee could have "flown into my house" during delivery and that he wouldn't credit me for a full salad but would instead "meet me in the middle". He can keep the $4 and change...I'll order from somewhere else next time.

We ordered a bunch of stuff just after arriving from the airport at 2 am. We looked at places still open on grub hub and Big C's had solid reviews. We ordered delivery and the lady on the phone was very nice. It took 45 minutes for it to be delivered which was surprising but the delivery guy was very nice and brought us the food in a convenient container. Now to the food. Not good. We ordered a bunch of stuff and it had clearly been frozen and was low quality. The cheese sticks were totally cold, the nachos were not edible, and the chicken strips were chewy like they were microwaved. Even though the service was somewhat slow the people were nice. However it was just an unpleasant experience due to the quality of the food. I was very surprised at how poor the food was based on how good some of the reviews were.

I been ordering from them for over 10 years and recently the quality seems to be declining..last nite $30 for delivery of spinach dip, pasta salad, a roast beef sand & rice pudding...very disappointing... The spinach "dip" was spinach with lots of garlic and cream....it was awful.....the pasta salad was okay..but not what it used to be..most disappointing was my roast beef ...it was dry and brown...bread got soggy..just overall..yuck.....the rice pudding which I used to really like...hat a ton of water when I opened it...it seemed old..not creamy...dont think I will be ordering again..considering the better option...

We ordered pizza at 7:30 at 8:45 they claim to have called us however we did not get the call at 9:15 we called them and they stated they tried to get in touch with us on the cell phone number that we had called from however they did not have our last name to get it for building We finally got a pizza at 10:10 we called them at 10:05 to ask where the delivery driver was the second time and we were told that they were doing us a favor by even coming back a second time. Worst meat sauce I ever eaten. It has bits of beef (I hope) fat that was chewy, and they used pot roast meat versus ground. I was not happy with the food whatsoever. Pasta was overcooked and mushy. There's a lot of good pizza in South Florida. And so far, this is edging out as my favorite. We've eaten here on a few occasions and it's been delicious every time. The crust has the perfect balance of crispiness and chewyness. They also have the best garlic rolls I've had so far in FL. The environment isn't very comfortable, bright lighting, eclectic patrons (depending on time of the night), so we get our pizza to-go now.

Let me give you a few tips regarding this place. Stick to the Pizza! If you want Italian food other than pie order from Gorgio's. I LOVE their pizza. When you can, pick it up yourself for extra good pie. It's my favorite pizza in town. Open 'till 4am and great late night grub, though beware a lot of cops eat here, so don't arrive too drunk ;-)

What a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Experience! I have never received such terrible food & service. I had the food delivered to my hotel & it was disgusting, the meat was not thoroughly cooked & there was hardly ay sauce on my spaghetti. When I called to give them a chance to re-deliver me something else, the manager who says his name was John LITERALLY went ballistic. He said that it had been 2 hrs since the order was placed. I tried to explain that I had to leave & was not able to eat it immediately to only found out how disgusting it was, when he started hollering at me like a lunatic. He then proceeded to HANG UP in my face. When I called back, and asked for the GM, whom he said is "Chris Capacos" he then continued to further insult me by saying that I was trying to use a bad credit card because I couldn't find it when they came but I immediately called to give them another one when I noticed I did not have it! ARE YOU SERIOUS????? Who treats customers in such a way. Apparently it is "John's the managers" goal to run this business right into the ground. I hope the GM has more finesse & customer service etiquette than the tyrant John that is managing this place. I travel the world & I have to say this was the WORST experience I have EVER HAD!

This was my first experience with the restaurant, while the boyfriend's office apparently orders from them many times. This particular night my boyfriend called in a 14" cheese pizza for pick up and upon hanging up said he thought he upset the girl who was taking orders. Weird, right? Fast forward, I go in to pick up the pizza and talk to the same girl who took the order and she is giving off a strong 'I'm angry at the world' vibe. I wish I could give her a break but after reading the reviews, this seems like a regular occurrence. The pizza itself wasn't bad. The sauce was spread out thinly and has a good taste of basil which we enjoyed. I rather like the lesser amount of sauce but that's just me. The crust had a nice give to it, allowing for a slight chewiness but not in a gross way. I'm giving this place three stars because even though I can usually deal with difficult attitudes, hers was a bit much and the food just wasn't enough to compensate for it.

Pies were very reasonably priced, prepared in less than 20 minutes, was given complimentary drinks while I waited and the pies were a hit with the kids. What else could I ask for. I was so disappointed in my hawaiian pizza. A flyer noted smoked ham when it was thin sliced sandwich ham. All ingredients seemed low grade and the pizza had little flavor. I expected a higher quality than the chain shops but they would have been better. Given prior comments I think the economy must be effecting them.

I have not eaten here since it moved from it's old location off Andrews to their new location across from Broward General but I had been buying pizza dough from them on weekly basis in order to speed up my own Sunday evening goat cheese pizza making activity. I will say that some pizza places will not sell their raw pizza dough (why I have no idea) but these people would however they could not decide on a price so everytime I went here (maybe 10 times total) the pizza dough was a different price. It was kind of cute initially but the price ranged from $2 to $5 depending on who was at the cash register. Finally one of the counter clerks suggested I hold on to my receipt so the next time there would be no confusion...So I did and went back to buy some dough and presented my receipt. The same clerk was there and said "oh I got in trouble for that" and went and got her boss who came out and said "well will give you dough at this price ($2.50) this time but next time it's gonna be $4..." I said every time I come here it's drama buying pizza dough...and you know what you've convinced me I'm going to make my own from now on.." Which I've been doing with some fits and starts but I think I've got it figured out. So anyway...no idea how this place makes money as there are many many employees and no customers (never seen more than one or two in the place) but they're disorganized and their attitude sucks. Grumble, grumble grumble. Ok, the pizza is pretty decent. it's nicely crisp although it's usually a little tough and the toppings are pretty generous. Perhaps Downtowner is better at 3am when I've had too much to drink and I don't realize what time it is, but when it takes almost 90min to get the damn thing, that's a bit long. I called after an hour and 10 and they tell me it has been in route for 21 minutes...21 minutes to go from downtown to Wilton Manors. I could have WALKED there faster... Wish that I read the reviews before stopping in here at 11:41 on a Thursday evening. I just left a GOP Debate party in Miami-Dade and was hungry. With my condo just down the street on the New River, this was easy and convenient. Simple order - a large meatball and sausage parmigiana hoagie. Including tax, I was charged $10.55 on my order. I inquired about wait time and was advised 10 to 15 minutes by an older gentleman working the counter. At 12:01 a.m. - 20 minutes later - I inquired about my food. The same counter person asked me what I had ordered. When I told him, he indicated that they were busy and that it would be another 10 minutes. Nope - no way. A simple sandwich doesn't take 30 minutes. Especially when you have 6 people working the night shift. I called and ordered a 14"mushroom pizza. Staff was super friendly. They do have delivery, but I picked it up. There is metered parking in front of restaurant. They have three tables inside for dine-in. The pizza has a very thick dough and crust. Double the thickness compared to most pizza places. It didn't have enough sauce. The pizza was chewy. This was pizza that I didn't want to keep eating and eating! The flavor was not exciting. The mushrooms were fresh, but the dough tasted old. Cheese was nothing exciting either. I would not order from here again.

A definite "must" for anyone traveling to or living nearby! Big C's Downtown Pizzeria is by far the BEST pizza that my family & friends have ever tried. We live in Michigan and nothing compares. If you haven't tried their Greek Salad, do it! All of their ingredients are fresh and they take pride in that. Make sure to end your order with their signature key lime pie! This review breaks my heart. Like my Husband and I just got into a big fight about this place. The food is GOOD don't get me wrong but fuck how hard is it to make a hot ham and cheese. I swear to God it's wrong every time we do order it. We should know better. We call for delivery and I'll order a "Hot Ham and cheese. White bread and American cheese." It's never right. Mostly we get a plain grilled cheese with no meat or we get a cold ham sandwich sub. We'll call and they all send a replacement. It take about an hour. Tonight was the last straw. Ordered take out pizza. I have had their pizza many times. They are open late at night & deliver to my house. Usually they undercook it. (especially if you get more than one topping or veggies, it can be watery on top) Today I ordered lunch. The pizza sauce has good flavor and they use quality cheese and toppings. They have a full menu but can't comment on it. I would like a thinner crust & more well done. Overall not bad but not great. I prefer the place that has "well done" pizza starts with an A, (coal fired).

EXCELLENT pizza. We order once a month when working in the area. The white pizza is fantastic and is our regular order. We just tried the Venezia pizza topped with artichoke, fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, garlic... and it's our new favorite! Not cheap, the 18" was $32 delivered, but it was a quality pie.

The wings, pizza and greek salad are very good. I go at least once a week. The regular burger is tasty and cheap. The large burger is not that great. The fries are not crispy. The mozerella sticks are giant and pretty good. The sauce was to runny. Garlic rolls are above average for the area. Free soda refills for dine in. Pepsi products. They have screwed my carry out order up the last 2 times. Make sure you check it before you leave. Make sure you print coupons online or get a take out menu before you order. Lots of free stuff on orders over 25 bucks. Friendly service. Decent prices.

On my way home I wanted a couple of slices. My usual stop is Pie Zans. But I was driving up Andrews and have seen Big C's and wondered many times how good it is. Went for the safe 2 slices and a soda. Slices are very big but expensive $8 for everything and the taste? Very so-so. Cheese was not the good kind, it was really the americanized version but definitely better than the chain places like papa johns and pizza hut. My guess is they are great if you've been out late and nothing else is open. OK choice since they are open til 4am. But if you want really good pizza .. this is not the spot. My name is Kira and I WAS a regular customer of this restaurant for almost four years and I am in utter shock at how I was just treated attempting to place an order today. Three weeks ago I ended up with a rusty long pin in my throat from either the broccoli or the pasta and being the peaceful human being that I am, I KINDLY called them, told them what had happened and they credited back my meal and the manager said "Kira we are really sorry and we hope not to lose your business". Fast forward to today, I am tired from work, so I decided to go ahead and give them another chance and order and I placed the entire order only to be placed on hold and then summarily told "we cannot and will not take your order". I sat here in SHOCK as I have spent probably hundreds if not thousands of dollars on meals here and tip the drivers well over 20 to 25% EVERY time. Their business practice is absolutely VILE and DISGRACEFUL TO TREAT A LOYAL CUSTOMER IN THIS WAY. I hope the Owner sees this because they should seriously be ASHAMED of themselves. I could have sued them for what I swallowed, or posted a negative review THEN but chose the path of peaceful resolution. I truly regret this decision as I was just treated so BEYOND shamefully. What I have written here is absolute 100% true and I would advise anyone in this neighborhood to boycott this restaurant. I will now be giving my business to PIEZANS as they would never ever treat anyone this way. I am DISGUSTED!!!!!! This should be a ZERO star review but I had to click on something....UGH....

I enjoy this place for what it is and order from here often. They've screwed up my order maybe once, but nothing they didn't take care of immediately. Their pizza and Stromboli is on par with the quality I get from pizza up North (I'm originally from Philadelphia) and they are open until 4 am! Disgustingly over priced, $10.95 for chicken wings that is robbery at its best, Order from Pie Zans they are just up the street, they wanted. Downtown Pizza wanted $15.00 + for a side order of meatballs and sausage with delivery fee of $3.00 which they tell you does not go to the driver, if that is the case does the establishment pay for the drivers gas, I highly doubt it, and then you are supposed to tip, so basically the driver is making $7-8 dollars for delivery, at that rate I should quit my job 10 deliveries the driver makes over $80.00 . Go to Pie Zans real people great prices and everyone who works there has all there teeth instead of the guy who summa teeth , some are there and some aren't i guess thats what you get for doing meth.

I have been ordering from Big C's now for about 3 years and I must say it is one of my favorite pizza spots! We order from Big C's so much on the weekends that it is pretty much a tradition now lol. I have ordered about everything on the menu and its all good. They have pretty good wings, but the greek wings are amazing, if you are in the mood for a something a little different than your typical wing, i would recommend getting these. Their salads are pretty decent size and always fresh. As far as subs go, this place definitely gives you your moneys worth, some of my favorite subs include the chicken parm, and the greek sub. Lets get to the pizza though, thats what a pizzeria is for, right? I have had all the pizzas there and my favorite is the double bacon cheeseburger pizza, soooooooo good. Like i said everything there is pretty good so i would recommend trying it for anyone located in the downtown area.

We ordered delivery and the lady on the phone was very nice. It took 45 minutes for it to be delivered which was surprising but the delivery guy was very nice and brought us the food in a convenient container. Now to the food. Not good. We ordered a bunch of stuff and it had clearly been frozen and was low quality. The cheese sticks were totally cold, the nachos were not edible, and the chicken strips were chewy like they were microwaved. Even though the service was somewhat slow the people were nice. However it was just an unpleasant experience due to the quality of the food. I was very surprised at how poor the food was based on how good some of the reviews were.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. I have ordered from here regularly and they ALWAYS screw my order up. I waited over an hour for my last order. They brought me the wrong item completely. When I called them, they apologized and said, "We're so sorry, we can be there in 30 min." Another hour went by and when I called back, they said they never put it in. In order to get a refund, I had to go straight there (with the wrong item) and the manager was so rude. He gave me a "partial" refund and said that because they still "delivered," that was why. I'm not really sure why this place has gotten so many terrible reviews. I order from here quite often, usually through the Grub Hub app on my phone, and have had good experiences. The food, especially their burgers and pasta dishes are good, especially for the price! I also enjoy their hot sandwiches and large, loaded salads, which are always fresh and delish! They are open very late (4AM) so perfect for late night munchies or somewhere that will deliver after being out at the bars late! I will continue to order from them - always delivery - I have never actually eaten at the restaurant.

Why would anyone lie and complain about a cockroach in their pizza? Free pizza? You think I'd take anything from that place ever again? NO! Not even if they paid me. This HAD to be deliberate. How else can this type of thing happen? We threw the entire pizza out. Don't eat here. It's very poor.

Just was here for a late night bite after being with a friend in the hospital ... Had the 2 slice special and boy was it good, each slice is as big as your mamma. Great thing about this place is that it's open till 4 AM

This place is nothing short of a shit hole!!!! On 7-21-14 I ordered a Pizza, Tiramisu, and 2 Sierra Mist soda's to be delivered to my Hotel. Sierra Mist was great!!!! Pizza tasted stale and old!! The Tiramisu, and I did take pictures of this, was completely covered with MOLD. I am not talking one small spot near the bottom that could have been over looked, this was completely covered in GREEN FUZZY MOLD!!!!!!!! I have been in the foodservice business for for 36 years and have seen what I thought was just about everything untill this. This had to be in the reach in for weeks to get this MOLDY!!! An obvious total disregard for any procedures and standards of quality control that should be implemented in the smallest of operations. These owners do not deserve your hard earned money!!! This got one star because I was unable to post without it.

When I saw the chicken Parmesan pizza and BBQ wings I thought it wasn't going to be good. It was great! The BBQ wings were better than dominos. The pizza was a great combination of cheese and chicken. We were stuffed and made sure we kept the leftovers.

I just ordered a delivery to my hotel room and they forgot to bring my minestrone soup and mushroom burger instead they brought me a mediteranean salad and a bag of garlic rollls seriously?after wating 50mins?i called them back and they were like ok we will send you the remaining order.the mediteranean salad is gross,i don't recommend this place. pls! just don't that's how bad this restaurant is. they try to send my previous order and it took 1hr.and half to bring the food,the guy that took my order is rude as well. Not even 1star worth!!! stay away!!! Not 1 star but -1.Yuck! the owner of this needs to close their restaurant asap.

Service on the phone was not pleasant. Delivery was much slower than the 45 minutes quoted. The big thing; however, was the food.....The WORST!! Greasy, gross, nasty! Even the pizza-how do you mess up a pizza?? As stated by another reviewer, the manager...JOHN, went ballistic on me, too! He was swearing and cussing at me on the phone! I just ordered food from this guy and he can't even appreciate the business. I am local and will never never ever go back. I will also tell everybody I can think of not to order from this dive!

Pizza here is REALLY good. One of my fav things to order is the chicken ceasar pita pocket on whole wheat pita. they have many good things on the menu and u will have a good meal no matter what u order. this is def a local favorite.

My criteria for a pizza place all is boiled down to one point...is the pizza good. Downtown Pizzeria will continue to receive my business because of this. When I want a slice I like to come here....They do their dough right and they cook it the right way, Nice and crispy docking...gotta love it.

I was so disappointed in my hawaiian pizza. A flyer noted smoked ham when it was thin sliced sandwich ham. All ingredients seemed low grade and the pizza had little flavor. I expected a higher quality than the chain shops but they would have been better. Given prior comments I think the economy must be effecting them.

Worst meat sauce I ever eaten. It has bits of beef (I hope) fat that was chewy, and they used pot roast meat versus ground. I was not happy with the food whatsoever. Pasta was overcooked and mushy. I made a mistake of not ordering what they are known for pizza on a drunken late night. Will only come back if such situation arises, and will order pizza only.

There's a lot of good pizza in South Florida. And so far, this is edging out as my favorite. We've eaten here on a few occasions and it's been delicious every time. The crust has the perfect balance of crispiness and chewyness. They also have the best garlic rolls I've had so far in FL. The environment isn't very comfortable, bright lighting, eclectic patrons (depending on time of the night), so we get our pizza to-go now.

I've only ordered delivery (when it's a lazy weekend or raining). Food always arrives hot and their crust is crispy good! They use lots of cheese, which I love!

Extremely disappointed with this place. I've ordered a few times from them in the past and the food had been good. Last night however, I found a DEAD BEE IN MY SALAD. Today, when asking for a credit on my next order, the manager (Corey) told me that the bee could have "flown into my house" during delivery and that he wouldn't credit me for a full salad but would instead "meet me in the middle". He can keep the $4 and change...I'll order from somewhere else next time.

We just got off a cruise in FLL...Got to Hotel on SuperBowl Sunday...wanted traditional SB Food...( Delivered ) Found this on GrubHub...took a Chance..we are Vegan...We ordered an 18" Whole Wheat Crust Veggie CheeseLess Pizza ....added a few more Veggies...( this could've fed the Whole FootBall Team ) way too big for 2 Women...lol..and we also ordered the Fresh Garden (CheeseLess) Veggie Wrap on Whole Wheat Wrap..Soooo Yummy...I can only imagine how much better this would've been with cheese...our arteries are thanking us.,lol...Pretty Expensive...But Worth It..

Let me give you a few tips regarding this place. Stick to the Pizza! If you want Italian food other than pie order from Gorgio's. I LOVE their pizza. When you can, pick it up yourself for extra good pie. It's my favorite pizza in town. Open 'till 4am and great late night grub, though beware a lot of cops eat here, so don't arrive too drunk ;-)

What a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Experience! I have never received such terrible food & service. I had the food delivered to my hotel & it was disgusting, the meat was not thoroughly cooked & there was hardly ay sauce on my spaghetti. When I called to give them a chance to re-deliver me something else, the manager who says his name was John LITERALLY went ballistic. He said that it had been 2 hrs since the order was placed. I tried to explain that I had to leave & was not able to eat it immediately to only found out how disgusting it was, when he started hollering at me like a lunatic. He then proceeded to HANG UP in my face. When I called back, and asked for the GM, whom he said is "Chris Capacos" he then continued to further insult me by saying that I was trying to use a bad credit card because I couldn't find it when they came but I immediately called to give them another one when I noticed I did not have it! ARE YOU SERIOUS????? Who treats customers in such a way. Apparently it is "John's the managers" goal to run this business right into the ground. I hope the GM has more finesse & customer service etiquette than the tyrant John that is managing this place. I travel the world & I have to say this was the WORST experience I have EVER HAD!

Good pie made while I waited and great service. Stopped here to get a couple pies to feed some kids working at a fundraiser car wash. Pies were very reasonably priced, prepared in less than 20 minutes, was given complimentary drinks while I waited and the pies were a hit with the kids. What else could I ask for. I would stop by again for a quick bite. Cheers

"I tried this pizza place while traveling in South Florida. They delivered to my hotel and it was there sooner than expected plus the price and quantity was on point. Pizza tasted great and I had plenty of leftovers. If you are by the Ft Lauderdale airport area, they will deliver out there."

I have not eaten here since it moved from it's old location off Andrews to their new location across from Broward General but I had been buying pizza dough from them on weekly basis in order to speed up my own Sunday evening goat cheese pizza making activity. I will say that some pizza places will not sell their raw pizza dough (why I have no idea) but these people would however they could not decide on a price so everytime I went here (maybe 10 times total) the pizza dough was a different price. It was kind of cute initially but the price ranged from $2 to $5 depending on who was at the cash register. Finally one of the counter clerks suggested I hold on to my receipt so the next time there would be no confusion...So I did and went back to buy some dough and presented my receipt. The same clerk was there and said "oh I got in trouble for that" and went and got her boss who came out and said "well will give you dough at this price ($2.50) this time but next time it's gonna be $4..." I said every time I come here it's drama buying pizza dough...and you know what you've convinced me I'm going to make my own from now on.." Which I've been doing with some fits and starts but I think I've got it figured out. So anyway...no idea how this place makes money as there are many many employees and no customers (never seen more than one or two in the place) but they're disorganized and their attitude sucks. God bless em I'm never going there again
